Cow Dignity

Cow Dignity and Farmers Progress Foundation came into being for:

•Improving living conditions of cows by providing well-designed and hygienically maintained cow sheds with basic amenities like naturally raised healthy fodder and clean drinking water.

•Providing sufficient open spaces for cows for grazing.

•Improving the bovine’s health by way of associating with the best animal hospitals for routine veterinary assistance.

•Improving the lives of the nomads by providing quality homes, healthcare, and good education for their children.

Mr. Surya Pujari

Mr. Surya Pujari has been deeply into organic farming activities and connected with the farmers’ clan for many decades. He brings with him the expertise and knowledge of field-based farming in both rural and urban areas. Along with this, he also has great reverence towards our indigenous Indian cows and he carries a passion to make their and their guardians lives easy, comfortable and fruitful.

Our Offerings

A2 GIR COW MILK

A2 Gir cow milk is a variety of desi cow milk that is rich in A2 beta casein protein, which is known to be easier to digest than A1 beta casein protein found in most foreign breed cow milk. It is also higher in calcium, phosphorus, and magnesium than other types of cow milk. Presence of omega-3 fatty acids in A2 milk potentially lowers the consumer's cholesterol levels and the potassium present in it benefits one's blood pressure.

A2 GIR COW GHEE

A2 Gir cow ghee is a type of clarified butter that is made from the milk of the A2 GIR breed of cow. The ghee is made by converting the accumulated cream through 'Bilona" process. The ghee is rich in taste and nutrients and has number of health benefits like improving digestion, boosting immunity, and protecting against diseases. It is also an excellent source of energy and helps in the proper absorption of vitamins and minerals.

URINE

Believed to have detoxifying and antiseptic properties, cow urine has been used in traditional Indian medicine for centuries. The use of cow urine for medical purposes is known as ‘gomedhutattva’. Cow urine is most commonly used in Ayurveda, the traditional Indian system of medicine. It is used as a diuretic, to cleanse the body of toxins, and to treat a variety of diseases and conditions.

COW DUNG SOAP

Made by a process of fermentation and extraction of oil from the cow dung, the soap is 100% natural. The soap is made by saponifying the oil with oils and fats. It is gentle and can be used on all skin types. It has therapeutic properties is also said to be good for the health of the skin and hair. Made from a renewable resource and sustainable, cow dung soap is also biodegradable and does not pollute the environment.
